A little bit about me…
I am married to the love of my life, we have a fabulous marriage (but yes, we still have some fights, and on occasion it is actually my fault.) We thrive on our love of conversation (that’s me talking 80% of the time) and our senses of humor (he is by far funnier, but when I reach my peek I am pretty darn hilarious)
I have a baby boy. He is this perfect little story book baby. He always smells good and his laugh and smile are so contagious. He’s my nugget, and when you hear me saying “nugget” rest assured, I am not toting around a box of chicken tenders, I am talking about my little love.
I love writing. (poetry, lyrics, short stories, articles, random, etc)
I love photography. (children, candids, natural light, story-telling, dramatic, metaphoric, ambiguous, etc)
I won’t blab about my love for them but I do believe God gave me each one to cherish.
And speaking of God, I am a child of His and I hope “this little light of mine” shines through.
Many years ago I used to be a bit of a princess. Ok, maybe not that many years ago but it sounds so profound and wisdom filled when you start out a shameful sentence with “many years ago I used to…” I wasn’t that bad, but I definitely like myself more now. I replaced the tiara on my head for a songbird on my shoulder (the cute chubby kind). I still haven’t fully grown out of pouting, which is very princess-ee but it just feels so good in “one of those” moments. I know I’ll have to close that chapter once my child can recognize his mommy being a giant baby. So I guess this is my last year. Drat. And to think I already gave up slamming doors over 10 years ago, I mean really, where does the time go?
I love fashion (was going to be a designer although I can only draw stick people, poorly) I love dresses (vintage, trendy, sweet) And just to save time I’ll just sum this part up with – I love pretty-feminine plucked-out-of-a-daydream things, from a massive painting to a bitty ring. I love humor. Honestly, I’ve tried being grumpy and it’s just really boring. Plus I was no good at snarling at things because I’d always cough in the middle of my snarl which made me laugh and then I’d talk like a pirate to bring myself back to grumpiness but that only made me think of the sea and quite frankly, I love the sea so I’d start planning a vacation and you can’t plan a vacation and be grumpy at the same time so it just wasn’t meant to be, the grumpiness that is, the vacation was a blast.
I have created this blog to share not only the good and bad bits of my life but to have a place to journal my trying to reach old and new goals. I like to share cute little things and finds, lovely outfits and accessories. I’d love to exhibit some of my photography and writing as well as other peoples photography and writing. Hopefully I’ll be able to share a lot of heart thumping inspiration, warm tingled beauty, point & snort humor and fill up your favorites bar rarities. And I guess I should prepare you for posts about dresses and skirts, two of my favorite things.
If you like any of it, please stay.
I think we’ll have fun, because if you’re anything like me, it’s hard not to.

There are so many blogs on the web that it gets a bit overwhelming…it is a lot easier to follow blogs once you have a chance to get to know a little more about the person behind the blog.
