we'll be surrounded by green-green grass and big trees with magnetic twisty character
a bike ride under the sun sounds so wonderful right now. especially when the bike matches my outfit.
this fake getaway is going to be very breezy. (note: simple dress)
i just want a lovely bed to take a nap in, probably alone because my husband states very clearly that naps are for losers.
i’m (almost) sure he kids.
after my nap i want all of us to go on a little bike ride. and of course he can have nugget in an attached baby seat in the back. that way if we get chased by a mean dog (one of my top ten fears) he can peddle way faster than me as i shout, go, save yourselves!
i digress. cuz i could really get carried away with that whole scenario.(think: book deal)
after our bike ride we’ll sit under a huge tree with the sun sifting through the branches and watch nugget run around with his one arm shrugged up and his neck tucked, like some kind of miniature pirate. i am sure there will be a few times when the hubby will tell an abnormal joke and my unsolved high pitched laugh will echo through the land, stopping bugs in their tracks.
we’ll go back to the room and have soft macadamia cookies without nugget noticing.
and then i’ll take another nap with nugget, he’ll be very tired from such sun and play and i’ve just been a sleepy-ditz in general this week.
what a comfy day…
