as much as i love a knock -out heel, i love a dainty little flat.
and i think, as a mom, i have realized i just can’t wear the higher shoes as much.
although sometimes i do try them on in my closet as though i’m in a shoe boutique and nugget quite enjoys my strangely short catwalk that i pretend to be on in my bathroom. i’m not sure if i’ll ever tire of playing dress up. when i was in college i used to think i was too old so i tried to keep it a secret. and now that i’m not that secretive, i easily confess that i try on a heap of clothes and shoes just to try on a heap of clothes and shoes and i don’t see an end to it in sight. and on a footnote, it’s a great calorie burner, especially when i incorporate music.
these cute little flats make it much easier to ditch the heels more than usual. don’t they look so comfy?

I love flats as well! Especially ones with the pointe shoe laces going up them! Beautiful!
