goodness. these hats! i am usually pretty decisive but if i had to pick only one of these, i’d have to have a meeting with myself & i imagine getting on my own nerves while debating it.
i had a lovely mother’s day. nugget gave me his little scribble drawing and proudly jumped up and down in complete glee while i observed it. i thanked him and told him - i love you baby & he says – nuv you mom.
on occasion, i used to stuff pillows (or a kickball) up my shirt as a teenager and recite a song i made up for my daughter (which of course i was going to have a girl first, cuz that’s what i wanted and i just felt it in my bones, so of course it would be). i used to imagine how fun it would be to go grocery shopping and have my perfectly clean house with my perfectly fluffy white cat. and say things like “what do you want for dinner honey” and do more than kiss at night. that was the big one, i couldn’t believe that i would be able to do more than kiss and it would be ok.
well.
anyway.
let’s stop there shall we!
i am super tired right now. bad sleep all weekend. lots of busyness. too many oreos.
but i must push through. it’s usually the stuff i don’t want to do (clean, cook, clean, cook) that i feel much better after i do them.
